The village of Cuevas De San Marcos is in an area that the government are investing heavily in. A new airport is due to be in use in 2012 at Antequera which is only 25 minutes away. An 18 hole golf course is proposed between the village and Rute in the near future, the new A45 motorway is under construction between Antequera and Cordoba and will soon be opened fully. The high speed train between Antequera and Madrid is due to be in use this year or next. The population of the village is approx 4,300 and it is a fully serviced village. Currently this is the only fully licenced guest house in the village.
Downstairs there is a very large room which has a dining area, a lounge area and bar. There is an office, which has a telephone point for Internet connection. The kitchen is very spacious and fully fitted out with units and extractor fan etc. With a large pantry and downstairs toilet.
On the first floor there are three double bedrooms, and a fully fitted bathroom, to serve these rooms, also there is a huge bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, again fully fitted out.

There is also a ladies and gents toilet on this floor.
This property has recently been refurbished from top to bottom, new tiles on the floors, new electrics, new plumbing, new kitchen, and all new bathrooms. There are telephone points on all 4 floors, and TV and radio points on all of the floors also. It also has an intercom system for the electric front door downstairs. Smoke alarms are fitted throughout, as is emergency lighting and fire extinguishers. The property has recently been fitted with air-conditioning. It is in excellent condition and situated in a very prominent position in the town.

The village of Cuevas de San Marcos is situated in the northern part of the Antequera region, bordering on the province of Cordoba with a population of approx 4300 residents and is 360 meters above sea level surrounded by the Sierra Del Camorro Mountains and rolling hills of olive plantations. Within the village there are many shops including a supermarket, a weekly street market, there are many Tapas bars were you can still enjoy a typical 3 course Spanish menu for around 8 euros. On the outskirts of the village there is a great open air municipal swimming pool open throughout the summer months. This still quiet undiscovered village offers a true Spanish lifestyle and is only a matter of time before everyone discovers this little gem.
